Why won't my watch sync with the application on my phone
🔄 Troubleshooting LifelineConnect SmartWatch Data Syncing
If your LifelineConnect SmartWatch data is not updating in the app, the issue may be related to phone settings or connectivity rather than the watch itself. Follow the steps below to help restore syncing.
🔐 Check phone permissions
Make sure the LifelineConnect app has permission to access the health and data-sharing settings it needs. On iPhone, review these settings under Privacy & Security and Health. On Android, check access in Health Connect.
📶 Confirm Bluetooth connection
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and that your watch is close to your smartphone. Keeping the devices near each other can help maintain a stable connection.
📱 Try a manual sync
Open the LifelineConnect app and try a manual sync. From the main dashboard, tap the blue circle at the top of the screen and select Sync Now to send the latest watch data to the app.
🔋 Check the battery level
If the battery is very low, background syncing may pause until the watch is charged.
🔁 Restart the devices
If the data is still not updating, close the LifelineConnect app completely, turn the watch off, and then turn it back on before checking the connection again.
✅ Check for updates
If syncing still does not resume, make sure your phone is running a supported operating system and that your LifelineConnect app is up to date.
