What if my door lock won't pair?

๐Ÿ” Troubleshooting LifelineConnect Door Lock Bluetooth Pairing

If your LifelineConnect Door Lock will not pair with the app, the issue is usually related to batteries, Bluetooth settings, or distance from the lock. Follow the steps below to try again.

๐Ÿ”‹ Check the batteries

Make sure all four AA alkaline batteries are fitted correctly and have enough charge. Low batteries can prevent the lock from pairing.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Turn on Bluetooth

Check that Bluetooth is turned on for your smartphone. Make sure the LifelineConnect app has permission to use Bluetooth.

๐Ÿšช Stand near the door

Pairing works best when you are standing close to the lock during setup.

๐Ÿ”„ Close and reopen the app

Close the LifelineConnect app completely, then open it again and try pairing once more.

๐Ÿ” Restart your phone

If the lock still does not connect, restart your smartphone and try again.

๐Ÿงฉ If the lock still will not pair

- Make sure no one elseโ€™s phone is already connected to the lock.
- Check that nearby walls, metal doors, or large appliances are not interfering with the Bluetooth signal.
