What happens when I press the SOS button?

The SOS button is there to bring you help quickly in an emergency. Here's exactly what happens when you press it, so you know what to expect.

1. You press and hold the SOS button on your watch.
2. Your watch confirms the alert has started, [with a sound or message].
3. Your alert is sent to [our monitoring team / your Care Circle].
4. [A trained responder speaks with you] to find out what you need. [This is where Connect America's monitoring service takes over.]
5. They arrange the right help, whether that's contacting a family member, or calling emergency services on your behalf.

You're not alone in the process, someone stays with you until help is on the way.

Pressed it by mistake? You can cancel, [tap Cancel on the watch within a few seconds], and no one will be contacted.
