How do I factory-reset my door lock?

A factory reset clears your door lock and returns it to how it was when new. This can fix a stubborn problem, but it also removes your settings and access codes, so use it as a last resort.

Before you reset, try our other troubleshooting guides first, a reset means setting the lock up again afterwards.

To factory reset:

1. [Locate the reset button on the inside part of the lock.]
2. [Press and hold it for about 10 seconds, until you hear a sound or see a light.]
3. The lock will reset, this clears all codes and settings.
4. Pair it again and set up your access codes, see our setup guides.

Please note: after a reset, all previous access codes stop working, so let your caregivers know they'll get new ones.
