Why won't my watch turn on?

If your watch won't turn on, don't worry, it's usually a simple fix. Try these steps in order.

  1. Charge it. The most common reason is a flat battery. Place your watch on its charging stand and leave it for [30 minutes], then try again.
  2. Check the charging light. If no light appears, the stand may not be getting power. Check it's plugged in and the socket is switched on.
  3. Clean the contacts. Gently wipe the back of the watch and the stand with a dry cloth, in case dust is stopping it charging.
  4. Try a restart. [Describe how to restart, e.g. press and hold the button for 10 seconds.]
