How do I set up fall detection?

Fall detection is one of the most important safety features on your watch. If you have a fall, your watch can automatically send for help. Here's how to switch it on.

1. Open the Lifeline Connect app and log in.
2. Tap [Settings], then [Safety] or [Fall detection].
3. Turn Fall detection on.
4. Check your emergency contacts and Care Circle are up to date, these are the people who'll be alerted.

How it works: if your watch senses a hard fall and you don't move for a short time, it will [sound an alert and contact your Care Circle / emergency service]. If you're fine, you can cancel the alert on your watch so no one is contacted unnecessarily.

Important: for fall detection to work, wear your watch snugly on your wrist and keep it charged. It's a helpful safety net, but no system detects every fall, so always call [999 / your local emergency number] directly if you can in a serious emergency.
