How do I check my door lock battery?
It's a good idea to keep an eye on your door lock's battery, so it never runs flat unexpectedly. Here's how to check it.
- Open the Lifeline Connect app and log in.
- Tap [Door lock].
- Look for the battery level, shown as a percentage or a battery icon.
What the indicators mean:
- Full or green – plenty of charge, nothing to do.
- Low or amber – time to plan a battery change soon.
- Very low or red – change the batteries as soon as you can.
The app will also send you a notification when the batteries are running low, so you'll get plenty of warning.
