How does heart rate monitoring work on my watch?

Your watch gently checks your heart rate through the day using a sensor on the back that rests against your skin. Here's how to see your readings.

  1. Open the Lifeline Connect app and log in.
  2. Tap [Health], then [Heart rate].
  3. You'll see your latest reading, and how your heart rate has changed over the day.

You can also see your current heart rate on your watch, look for the [heart icon].

What the numbers mean: heart rate is measured in beats per minute. It's normal for it to be lower when you're resting and higher when you're active or moving about.

For accurate readings: wear your watch snugly, with the back touching your skin, just above your wrist bone.

Your watch is a wellbeing tool, not a medical device. If a reading ever concerns you, or you feel unwell, contact your doctor.
